We don’t have a one-size-fits-all model and price structure for business coaching. Our programs are unique to each business we are working with.
Once we have learned about your business – including your challenges, goals, team size, and who you would like us to work with – we will design a business coaching program to suit your needs.
As a general guide, the minimum investment will be less than half the cost of a junior employee; but will provide many times the leverage, growth opportunities, and return on investment for your business.
Most businesses partner with us for 4 to 5 years.
We’ve had some clients for over 12 years, as we work with them as their goals evolve and their business grows.
Some clients are with us for a year or two to achieve specific goals, such as implementing Government grant funding for business growth; succession; or getting their business ready for sale.
If you are looking to systemise and grow your business, we recommend you mentally commit to coaching for a minimum of one year, as it’s from this point you will really get traction and see rewards for your efforts.
We don’t believe in lock-in contracts, and our clients are free to end business coaching at any time.
Our sweet spot for business coaching, and where we achieve the best results, is with established businesses which have been operating for at least three years and have anywhere from 5 to 500 employees.
(We have worked with smaller businesses who recognise the value of investing in their business growth, so please enquire if you have a few employees and are looking to scale up).
If you are a sole trader or new to business and would like assistance with setting up, marketing, or hiring your first employee; we highly recommend The Business Centre in Newcastle or the Hunter Region BEC Business Hub.
We specialise in providing business intelligence rather than operational intelligence. In other words, we don’t tell our manufacturing clients how to make their products, nor our construction clients how to build!
No matter what industry you are in, we can coach you to efficiently, and profitably, master and grow your business.
Since 2004 we’ve worked with businesses in dozens of industries, including:
At Yellow Coaching, we believe coaching is a partnership in which we must both see value in working together.
We make sure we get to know each other through conversations by phone, email and in person before our mutual decision to work together.
Things we will take into consideration include:
We will ask you to consider:
Yes, business is a team sport, and we love getting to know your team members and helping them learn, grow, and support you and your business.
Depending on your goals, your program may involve us:
Our comfortable, private office space in Morpeth is our preferred location for all sessions, as our whiteboard, projection facilities to share content, and coffee machine are all close at hand!
Our office provides a sanctuary in which clients can get out of their busy environment, and concentrate on working ‘on’ their business without interruptions.
At times we understand that even if your business is local, you may prefer for us to come to you. When we begin coaching we will agree on the location of our sessions. When we are conducting training or workshops for your team, our boardroom can accommodate up to 8 people, or we can conduct training at your premises.
For our clients further afield or interstate, our preferred option is Zoom, but phone can also work well.
We will partner with anyone aligned with our own values; who sees the value in the financial and time investment of coaching; and who is willing to put in the effort to get results.
We are committed to the positive relationships we have with our clients, so are proud to have a strict “no dickhead” policy!
We choose to work with a limited number of clients at any one time. All our clients are open to learn and grow along with their business, which all have the potential to go from good to great.
We tailor our team development workshops to the needs of each individual group; and welcome your requests. Topics we frequently cover include:
You may not know what topics will help you address the challenges your team is facing. Please contact us to discuss your needs and we’ll suggest content to suit.
As our team development workshops are tailored to the unique needs of the group we are working with, we do not offer an hourly rate for workshops. The proposal we provide you will take into consideration:
Once we have spoken with you to establish your needs, we will provide a detailed online quote for your consideration.
When quoting for team development workshops we give an all-inclusive price so there are no surprises.
Your quote will include:
If your event is outside the Hunter Valley region and accommodation and/or flights are required, we will include this in our quote, or may request these are arranged on our behalf.
We request that you arrange the following, which our quote will not include:
Our services for team development workshops are for presentation and facilitation only. We request that all other aspects of your event are managed in-house or by a professional conference organiser.
We can facilitate fun, short, getting-to-know-you activities within your conference room. For team building events (including outdoor, night, and virtual events) we highly recommend the services of Pinnacle Team Events.
We design our training to suit your needs. We’ll ask about any specific challenges your leaders are facing, their strengths and areas in which they can grow, your time frame, and your budget.
Once we have established your unique circumstances, we’ll design a program to suit. You may decide that a few sessions are all that’s required, or you may wish to engage us for six months or more to really get traction.
All our training is structured to meet your needs. Below are some examples of recent training programs we’ve conducted:
As all our programs are different, we do not have an hourly rate for services. Your investment will depend on the location of training, number of managers, and number and duration of sessions.
Once we have discussed your needs in detail, we’ll provide an online quote for your consideration.
Every executive coaching program is as unique as the individual we are coaching.
Each leader has their own experiences, skills, behavioural style, outlook, strengths, environment, and goals. Together we’ll discuss challenges and desired outcomes, and coach them to learn and grow to achieve them.
Factors such as the number of sessions, duration of sessions, location of sessions and whether sessions are by Zoom, telephone, or face to face all influence the executive coaching investment. Once we’ve discussed needs, we’ll provide an online proposal for consideration.
Executive coaching sessions can proceed for as long as it takes to achieve objectives. We recommend no fewer than four sessions with each individual so we can define objectives, discuss options, agree on actions, and review outcomes.
Some executives benefit from ongoing, regular sessions to assist them to navigate challenges as they arise.
